Habitable Exoplanets

Habitable exoplanets are planets outside our solar system that have conditions potentially suitable for life as we know it. They typically orbit stars within a zone where temperatures allow liquid water to exist on their surfaces—an essential ingredient for life. Scientists look for planets with the right size, atmosphere, and distance from their star to support stable, life-friendly environments. Discovering such planets helps us understand whether life might exist elsewhere in the universe. However, habitable doesn’t guarantee life exists there, only that the conditions might be capable of supporting it.
