Habad (alternative spelling)

Chabad, also known as Chabad-Lubavitch, is a Hasidic movement within Orthodox Judaism that emphasizes education, spirituality, and community outreach. Founded in the late 18th century by Rabbi Schneur Zalman of Liadi, its name is an acronym for "Chochmah, Binah, Da'at," which represent wisdom, understanding, and knowledge.
