Grupo de los Siete

The Grupo de los Siete, or G7, is an informal group of seven major advanced economies: Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States, along with the European Union. Established in the 1970s, it focuses on economic policy, global security, and significant international issues. Leaders from these countries meet annually to discuss global challenges, such as climate change, trade, and health crises. The G7 aims to coordinate collective responses and foster cooperation among the world’s largest and most influential democracies, promoting policies that address global stability and growth.
