GRP (Gross Rating Point)

Gross Rating Points (GRPs) are a metric used in advertising to measure the overall reach and frequency of a campaign. It combines how many people see the ad (reach) and how often they see it (frequency). One GRP represents 1% of the target audience exposed to the ad once. For example, if an ad reaches 50% of the audience twice, it totals 100 GRPs (50% x 2). GRPs help advertisers estimate the total exposure and assess campaign strength, balancing how many people are reached and how often they see the message.
