Gross National Product (GNP)

Gross National Product (GNP) is the total value of all goods and services produced by a country's residents over a specific period, usually a year, regardless of where they operate globally. It includes income earned by citizens abroad and excludes income earned by foreign residents within the country. GNP offers a picture of the economic activity generated by a nation's people and businesses worldwide, providing insight into the country's overall economic health and the income generated by its residents' efforts globally.
