Greek life

Greek life refers to social organizations, known as fraternities (for men) and sororities (for women), typically found on college campuses. These organizations are formed around shared values, interests, or identities and often provide members with community, networking opportunities, leadership development, and philanthropic involvement. Membership usually involves a traditional recruitment process, called rushing, and ongoing participation in social, academic, and service activities. While Greek life fosters camaraderie and legacy-building, it also comes with responsibilities and expectations.
