Grand Prince of Serbia

The Grand Prince of Serbia was a medieval noble title used before Serbia became a kingdom. It referred to a ruler or regional leader within the Serbian hierarchy, often governing a significant part of the territory. The title indicated authority but was below that of a king. Over time, the role evolved as Serbia's political structure changed, culminating in the official recognition of the Serbian monarchy with the establishment of the Kingdom of Serbia in the 19th century.
