Global North

The Global North refers to countries that are economically developed, mostly located in the Northern Hemisphere. This group includes nations like the United States, Canada, most of Europe, and parts of East Asia. These countries typically have higher standards of living, advanced infrastructure, and strong economies. In contrast, the Global South usually comprises developing countries with emerging economies, primarily located in Africa, Latin America, and parts of Asia. The terms highlight differences in wealth, resources, and development levels between these regions, and are often used in discussions about global inequality and international relations.
