GIRFEC (Getting It Right For Every Child) is a Scottish framework designed to ensure that all children and young people receive the right support at the right time. It emphasizes a coordinated approach by professionals and families, focusing on the child's wellbeing across areas such as health, education, and safety. GIRFEC uses the concept of a "Wellbeing Wheel" to assess and promote growth in key areas like safe, healthy, achieving, nurtured, active, respected, responsible, and included. The goal is to ensure every child reaches their full potential through consistent, personalized support.
