
George M. Dallas
George M. Dallas was an American politician and diplomat in the 19th century. He served as the Vice President of the United States from 1845 to 1849 under President James K. Polk. Prior to that, he was a senator from Pennsylvania and a diplomat, including serving as the U.S. ambassador to several countries. Dallas was known for his political skill and support of expansion and American growth during the era.
