Genseric

Genseric was a prominent leader of the Vandals, a Germanic tribe that migrated across Europe and North Africa in the 5th century. As king of the Vandals from around 428 CE, he is best known for leading his people to conquer the richest parts of the Roman Empire, especially North Africa. Genseric's reign was marked by his military skill and naval strength, which enabled him to seize key territories and disrupt Roman trade. His actions significantly weakened the Western Roman Empire, and he is also famously associated with the sack of Rome in 455 CE.
