Genomic regulation refers to the complex processes controlling how genes are turned on or off in our cells. This determines when, where, and how much of a gene's product, like proteins, is made. Regulatory mechanisms include chemical tags on DNA, identifying specific regions called enhancers and silencers, and various proteins that modulate gene activity. These controls ensure our cells function correctly, adapt to changes, and develop properly.
