Gay-Straight Alliance

A Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA) is a student-led organization in schools that aims to create a safe and inclusive environment for LGBTQ+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer/questioning) students, as well as their straight allies. These groups foster understanding, promote acceptance, and work to combat discrimination and bullying based on sexual orientation or gender identity. GSAs often engage in various activities, including discussions, educational events, and awareness campaigns, to encourage dialogue and support among students, fostering a culture of respect and inclusion within the school community.
