Gaudapada
Gaudapada was an influential Indian philosopher from the 6th century, known for his profound work in Advaita Vedanta, a school of spiritual thought. He emphasized that the true self (Atman) is essential and unchanging, beyond the illusions of the external world. Gaudapada used logical reasoning and poetic poetry to explore the nature of reality, suggesting that the perception of separateness and change is ultimately an illusion (maya). His teachings aim to guide individuals toward self-awareness and spiritual liberation by understanding the unity of all existence.
