Gasherbrum II is one of the highest mountains in the world, standing at 8,035 meters (26,362 feet) tall. It is located in the Karakoram range, on the border between Pakistan and China. Known for its stunning beauty and challenging climbing routes, Gasherbrum II is the 13th highest peak globally and was first successfully climbed in 1956. It is part of a group of peaks known as the Gasherbrum massif, which also includes Gasherbrum I, a nearby summit.
