Gas measurement units
Gas measurement units are standard ways to quantify gases for various applications, such as cooking or heating. Common units include cubic meters (m³) and cubic feet (ft³), measuring the volume of gas. For energy content, we use British thermal units (BTUs) or megajoules (MJ), which indicate how much energy the gas can produce when burned. In many countries, gas is also sold in therms, which reflect the energy content equivalent to 100,000 BTUs. Understanding these units helps consumers make informed decisions about gas usage and cost.
