Gadar Party

The Gadar Party was an Indian revolutionary organization founded in 1913 by Indian immigrants in the United States and Canada. Its goal was to overthrow British rule in India through armed rebellion and promote independence. Members believed in using militant tactics, including planning revolts and rallying support among Indians abroad. The party played a significant role in inspiring anti-colonial sentiments and raising awareness about India’s struggle for independence, especially through activities like distributing revolutionary literature and supporting insurgent groups back home. Although it was short-lived, the Gadar Party had a lasting impact on India's fight for freedom.
