G7 (after Russia's suspension)

The G7 is an international group of seven advanced economies, including Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Originally, Russia was part of the group as the G8, but after Russia's actions in Ukraine in 2014 and subsequent conflicts, many members suspended Russia’s participation. Today, the G7 functions as a forum for these leading nations to coordinate policies, address global issues like economic stability, security, climate change, and health. Without Russia, the G7’s discussions focus on collaboration among these democracies to promote stability and shared interests worldwide.
