G-type stars

G-type stars are a class of stars that includes our Sun. They are characterized by their yellowish color and moderate surface temperatures, typically between 5,300 and 6,000 degrees Celsius (about 9,500 to 11,000 degrees Fahrenheit). G-type stars are considered to be stable and have a long lifespan, often lasting billions of years. They fuse hydrogen into helium in their cores, providing energy and light. This stability makes them ideal for supporting planetary systems, like ours, where life can thrive. Other examples include stars like Alpha Centauri A and Tau Ceti.
