Further Education Funding Council (FEFC)

The Further Education Funding Council (FEFC) was a UK organization established in 1992 to allocate government funding to further education institutions, such as colleges. Its primary role was to ensure that colleges received financial resources to support vocational training, adult education, and other forms of post-secondary education. The FEFC worked to ensure quality in education and promote access to learning opportunities for all. In 2001, the FEFC was replaced by the Learning and Skills Council (LSC), which took on its responsibilities, further shaping the landscape of further education funding in England.
