Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery (FESS)

Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery (FESS) is a minimally invasive procedure used to treat chronic sinus issues. Using a thin, flexible camera called an endoscope, surgeons view the inside of your sinuses through your nostrils without large cuts. They gently remove or open blocked or inflamed tissue, drainage pathways, or polyps to restore normal airflow and sinus function. The goal is to improve breathing, reduce infections, and promote healing. FESS is typically done under local or general anesthesia and has a quick recovery time, often allowing patients to return to normal activities within days.
