Franklin D. Roosevelt, commonly known as FDR, was the 32nd President of the United States, serving from 1933 until his death in 1945. He led the country during the Great Depression and World War II, implementing the New Deal to provide relief and recovery through government programs that aimed to support the economy and the unemployed. Roosevelt is known for his strong leadership, innovative policies, and ability to communicate effectively, including through his famous "Fireside Chats." He was elected to four terms, making him the only U.S. president to serve more than two terms.
