Frank Wisner

Frank Wisner was an influential American diplomat and intelligence officer during the mid-20th century. Born in 1909, he played a key role in shaping U.S. foreign policy after World War II. He served as the first director of the Office of Special Operations and was involved in the establishment of the CIA. Wisner was known for his advocacy of covert operations and a strong stance against Soviet influence. His work helped to shape the U.S. approach to the Cold War, including involvement in various global conflicts and support for anti-communist movements across the world until his death in 1965.
