Frank Gilbreth was an American engineer and management consultant known for his pioneering work in motion study and time management during the early 20th century. He aimed to improve efficiency in labor by analyzing the steps involved in tasks and eliminating unnecessary movements, which he called "therbligs." Gilbreth’s principles contributed significantly to industrial engineering and productivity methods. He also emphasized the importance of worker wellness and training. Along with his wife, Lillian Gilbreth, he advocated for better working conditions and is famous for his contributions to understanding human factors in workplace design.
