France (Guiana)
French Guiana, or Guyane, is an overseas region and department of France located on the northeastern coast of South America. It features a diverse landscape of rainforests, rivers, and coastal areas, with a rich blend of indigenous, European, and immigrant cultures. As part of France, it uses the euro and is governed by French law, making it both European and South American. The region is known for the Guiana Space Centre, a key spaceport used for launching satellites. Despite its remote location, French Guiana is integrated into France's political, social, and economic systems.
