Fourth Dynasty
The Fourth Dynasty of ancient Egypt, part of the Old Kingdom period, lasted from around 2613 to 2494 BCE and is best known for the construction of the iconic pyramids at Giza, including the Great Pyramid built for Pharaoh Khufu. This era marked a time of strong centralized government, economic prosperity, and cultural development. The dynasty included notable rulers such as Khafre and Menkaure. The period's achievements in architecture, art, and administration helped solidify Egypt’s reputation as a powerful and unified civilization. However, subsequent internal struggles led to the decline of this prosperous era.
