Four Tendencies
The Four Tendencies are a way to understand how people respond to expectations. They include: Upholders, who meet both inner and outer expectations easily; Questioners, who need to understand the reasons before meeting expectations; Obligers, who fulfill outer expectations but struggle with inner ones; and Rebels, who resist both inner and outer expectations and prefer to act on their own terms. Recognizing these tendencies helps improve habits, relationships, and motivation by tailoring approaches to each person's natural response to accountability.
