Forward Bloc

Forward Bloc is a political organization in India founded by Subhas Chandra Bose in 1939. It emerged as a movement to promote national independence and assert stronger, more proactive leadership against British colonial rule. The Bloc sought to unite those who believed in direct action and self-reliance, differing from mainstream parties at the time. Over the years, it has functioned as a smaller, ideologically focused group within Indian politics, emphasizing patriotism, social justice, and sovereignty. Its goal has been to advance India's independence and welfare through disciplined political effort and activism.
