Football, known as soccer in some countries, is a team sport played between two teams of eleven players on a rectangular field. The objective is to score goals by getting a ball into the opposing team’s net. Each match consists of two halves, typically lasting 45 minutes each, with added time for stoppages. Players use their feet primarily, but can also use their heads and torsos to control the ball. The game emphasizes teamwork, strategy, and skill.
