Foot posture

Foot posture refers to the way your feet align and support your body during standing, walking, or running. It includes whether your feet are flat, high-arched, or somewhere in between, and how your ankle and leg bones are positioned. Proper foot posture helps distribute weight evenly, maintain balance, and prevent discomfort or injury. Abnormal foot postures, like overpronation (flat feet) or oversupination (high arches), can affect gait and lead to issues in your knees, hips, or back. Assessing and correcting foot posture can improve overall movement and reduce pain.
