Food Safety Authority of Ireland
The Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) is a government agency responsible for ensuring that all food sold in Ireland is safe to eat. It sets and enforces standards for food production, handling, and labeling, and conducts inspections to prevent foodborne illnesses. The FSAI also provides advice to consumers and businesses about safe food practices. Its goal is to protect public health by maintaining high food safety standards across the entire food chain—from farms to supermarkets.
