Fogg's Behavioral Model
Fogg's Behavioral Model explains that for someone to take a specific action, three elements must come together: Motivation (desire to do it), Ability (having the skills or resources to do it), and a Prompt (a trigger or reminder). If any of these are missing, the behavior is unlikely to occur. For example, to get someone to exercise, they need to want to do it, be physically able, and be prompted with a reminder or cue. The model helps design interventions or experiences that effectively encourage desired behaviors by ensuring these three factors align.
