FMLA regulations

The Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) allows eligible employees to take up to 12 weeks of unpaid, job-protected leave annually for specific family or health reasons, such as caring for a sick family member, bonding with a new child, or managing your own serious health condition. It applies to employers with at least 50 employees within a 75-mile radius. During FMLA leave, your position is protected, and your health benefits generally continue. To qualify, you must meet certain work history requirements and provide proper notice.
