Federal Party of Puerto Rico

The Federal Party of Puerto Rico was a political organization advocating for Puerto Rico to become a U.S. state. Founded in the early 20th century, it aimed to integrate Puerto Rico fully into the United States' political system, promoting statehood as a way to improve economic development and political rights for Puerto Ricans. The party opposed independence or maintaining the island's current territorial status.
