FDM, or Frequency Division Multiplexing, is a method of transmitting multiple signals over a single communication channel by dividing it into different frequency bands. Each signal is assigned a unique frequency range, allowing them to coexist without interfering with each other. Think of it like multiple radio stations broadcasting simultaneously on different channels; a radio tuner can select and listen to one station without interference from others.
