FCR regimen

The FCR regimen is a treatment plan often used for certain blood cancers, like chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). It combines three drugs: Fludarabine (a chemotherapy medication), Cyclophosphamide (another chemotherapy agent), and Rituximab (a targeted antibody therapy). Together, they work to destroy cancer cells by attacking different parts of the disease. The treatment is usually given in cycles over several months, aiming to reduce or eliminate the cancer, improve symptoms, and achieve remission. The FCR regimen is carefully managed by healthcare professionals to balance effectiveness with managing side effects.
