Farvardin
Farvardin is the first month of the Persian (Iranian) calendar, which begins at the vernal equinox around March 21. It signifies the start of spring and the new year (Nowruz). Named after Farvardin, one of the mythological twelve divine beings in Zoroastrian tradition, the month symbolizes renewal, growth, and rebirth. Traditionally, it includes holidays and celebrations that honor nature's awakening, family gatherings, and cultural customs. Farvardin's significance lies in its role as a time of fresh beginnings, reflecting universal themes of renewal and hope aligned with the arrival of spring.
