Farsi language

Farsi, also known as Persian, is an Indo-European language primarily spoken in Iran, as well as in parts of Afghanistan (Dari) and Tajikistan (Tajik). It has a rich literary history dating back over a millennium, with a unique script derived from the Arabic alphabet. Farsi features a complex system of verbforms, extensive poetry, and a vocabulary influenced by Arabic. It plays a central role in Iran's culture, literature, and identity. While it shares common roots with other Indo-European languages, its distinctive sounds and poetic tradition make it a culturally significant and linguistically unique language.
