Family Planning 2020 (FP2020)

Family Planning 2020 (FP2020) is a global partnership aimed at improving access to contraceptive services and family planning information for women and girls in developing countries. Launched in 2012, FP2020 seeks to empower individuals to choose when and how many children to have, contributing to healthier families and communities. The initiative focuses on increasing awareness, funding, and resources to provide a range of contraceptive options and education. By 2020, FP2020 aimed to help an additional 120 million women and girls access family planning services, supporting their health, rights, and economic opportunities.
