Family Liaison Officers

Family Liaison Officers (FLOs) are specially trained police staff who act as a bridge between law enforcement and the families of victims or individuals involved in incidents. Their role involves providing support, information, and guidance to families during often difficult times. FLOs help ensure that families understand the police process, communicate updates, and address any concerns. They also assist in gathering relevant information that may aid investigations while maintaining sensitivity to the family's emotional needs.
