Face shields
Face shields are transparent protective devices worn over the face to guard against airborne particles, splashes, and potential contamination. Typically made from plastic, they cover the entire front of the face and often extend down to the neck. While they don’t replace masks, face shields can provide additional protection when used in combination with them. They are commonly used in medical settings, during certain industrial tasks, and in everyday situations to help reduce the spread of infectious diseases. Face shields allow for better visibility and communicate effectively while keeping the wearer safe.
