Fabric of Spacetime

The fabric of spacetime is a concept in physics that combines space and time into a single four-dimensional continuum. Imagine a flexible, stretchable sheet where massive objects, like stars and planets, create dents or curves. These curves represent how gravity works: objects move along these curves, which affects their paths and interactions. Instead of thinking of gravity as a force pulling from a distance, it’s more about how masses warp the spacetime around them, influencing the movement of other objects nearby. This idea was central to Albert Einstein's theory of General Relativity.
