F5 tornado

An F5 tornado is the most powerful type, with winds exceeding 200 mph. It causes catastrophic damage, ripping apart buildings, uprooting trees, and creating massive destruction over large areas. These tornadoes form in severe thunderstorms where strong wind shear and instability create a rotating column of air called a mesocyclone. When this rotation intensifies and extends toward the ground, a tornado develops. F5 tornadoes are rare but extremely dangerous, capable of destroying well-built structures and severely impacting communities. Their power and unpredictability make them one of nature’s most destructive forces.
