Exit Nodes

Exit nodes are the final servers in a network like Tor that decrypt and send your encrypted internet traffic to its intended destination, such as a website. When you use Tor for privacy, your data travels through multiple nodes for anonymity, and the exit node is where your data exits the anonymous network. While it helps protect your identity by hiding your IP address, the exit node can see the data being transmitted if it’s not encrypted. Therefore, trusting the exit node is important for maintaining privacy and security.
