Exclusive Economic Zones of the world's countries

Exclusive Economic Zones (EEZs) are maritime areas extending up to 200 nautical miles from a country's coast, where that country has special rights to explore, exploit, and manage natural resources like fish, minerals, and oil. While the country's sovereignty applies mainly to resources and economic activities, the EEZ does not grant full territorial sovereignty over the water itself or the air above. EEZs allow nations to benefit from resources in these offshore areas, promoting economic development while respecting international laws governing maritime boundaries.
