Environmental Political Theory

Environmental Political Theory is a subdivision of political philosophy which considers how our relationship with the environment influences and is influenced by politics. It asks questions like "What are our political responsibilities towards nature?" and "How should resources be distributed?" It addresses issues such as climate change, environmental ethics, justice, and sustainability, studying how our political systems can best respond to and manage these issues, while promoting fair and ethical treatment of the environment.
