The English Premier League (EPL) is the top professional football (soccer) league in England, featuring 20 clubs. It operates from August to May each year, with each team playing 38 matches—home and away against every other team. The league is known for its competitive nature and high-quality football, attracting top players and coaches worldwide. Points are awarded based on match results: three for a win, one for a draw, and none for a loss. At the end of the season, the team with the most points is crowned champion, while the bottom three teams are relegated to a lower division.
