Empress Elisabeth of Austria, commonly known as Sisi, was born in 1837 and became the wife of Emperor Franz Joseph I. Despite her glamorous life, Sisi struggled with mental health issues and personal tragedies, including the loss of her children. She was also passionate about horseback riding and travel, seeking freedom from her royal duties. Sisi's life inspired numerous books and films, portraying her as a tragic figure caught between personal desires and imperial expectations. She was assassinated in 1898.
