Empirical Realism

Empirical realism is the philosophical view that our knowledge of the world comes primarily through our sensory experiences—what we see, hear, touch, etc. It asserts that objects and facts exist independently of our minds and that we can understand them through observation and scientific inquiry. In essence, empirical realism supports the idea that reality is real and accessible, and that evidence gathered from our senses and experiments can reliably inform us about how the world truly is, rather than being merely a product of perception or imagination.
