Eleanor of Brittany
Eleanor of Brittany (1184–1241) was a noblewoman and the daughter of Geoffrey Plantagenet and Constance of Brittany. She was a granddaughter of King Henry II of England and Eleanor of Aquitaine. Eleanor's life was marked by political turmoil, as she was a potential rival to the English crown. Her lineage made her a figure of interest in power struggles between England and France. Despite being confined for much of her life, her importance lies in her role in the dynastic politics of medieval Europe and her connections to prominent royal families of her time.
